Justice, Peace and World Concerns Team

The remit of the Justice Peace World Concerns Team aims to take on a broader aspect of the Church’s work for our congregation.

• Greenock and Paisley Presbytery Covenant of Friendship with Zimbabwe Presbytery. Old Kirk twinning with St.Peter’s Church, Gweru, -close links formed with their minister, Matorofa Mutonganavo.
• Support for Christian Aid and the Fairtrade Foundation. We work with the Kilmacolm Christian Aid committee in their various fundraising projects
• Homelessness nearer to home. Assistance given to Loaves and Fishes charity in Glasgow : to Barnados’ Threshold Services for the young homeless in Greenock
• World Mission Council : work in other countries – Malawi and Ghana
