The Prayer Team

Our basic remit is to create and maintain an impetus for prayer outside normal worship hours. To this end:
- A Prayer Chain has been developed round which is passed by telephone a list of those needing our prayers; using as a focus the Church of Scotland publication ‘Pray Now’, available from the church at a discounted price.
- There is now a Prayer Book in the Vestibule of the Church into which can be entered the names of those members in need of our prayers (having first obtained the consent of the person being named)
- We also liaise with the Presbytery Prayer adviser
