There will be mince pies and coffee/tea provided and an admission fee of £1.00 per person will be requested. Organisations, shops, and Churches in the village will be entering trees in the Festival, so please come along and support the event, in aid of a very worthwhile cause.
TALK ABOUT ERSKINE HOPSITAL
As a precursor to the Festival we have invited a speaker from Erskine Hospital to come along and give us a talk and slide show on what actually goes on at Erskine and the work that they do. The meeting will be held at Kidston Hall on Thursday 8th December 2011 at 7.30pm, and all are welcome.
CHRISTMAS CAROLS AT THE MANSE
We are having Comminity Carol Singing at the Manse on Sunday 18th December. 6pm onwards. Mulled wine and mince pies and Christmas food for the kids. All welcome. Wrap up warm!
SUNDAY SCHOOL NATIVITY
We warmly invite you to our Nativity on Sunday 11th December, 11am service.
Come along and help us celebrate with some favourite carols and enjoy the real meaning of Christmas!
OLD KIRK CHOIR Volunteers are sought for the choir. This need not be a weekly commitment. Please contact Robin Erskine if you can help.
RECIPE BOOK
Thank you to those who submitted recipes for The Mission and Outreach/Community Issues Team Recipe Book. It has been decided not to produce one, but we will publish a selection of the recipes doanted in the Church Magazine.
‘NIGHT KIRK’
This is a monthly reflective service for those who are unable to attend on a Sunday morning or who simply wish to attend another diet and another style of worship. The service is usually on the first Sunday of each month and will last for around forty minutes starting at 6.00 p.m. All are welcome.
